The boom and bust of listed Cannabis Corporations has often been compared to the “Dotcom” bubble. As in Cannabis, the supernova of early mover companies like Myspace and Netscape rose and flared out. Tech sector retrenchment and consolidation followed. Like Cannabis, first mover advantage for these early pioneers was no advantage at all. Some of the most iconic Cannabis companies of the next decade have yet to be launched. For the next wave of cannabis companies, it’s a race to be second.
